Heather Jung(헤더 정) - Bilingual Korean/Japanese Legal Assistant

Heather S. Jung is a recent addition to our Maryland and Virginia Korean personal injury department. Heather came to the United States from South Korea in 1998. Upon her arrival, she spoke no English. Nevertheless, she quickly succeeded and as a result, went to and graduated from the University of Maryland at College Park.
As a young Korean American, who immigrated to the United States speaking no English, Heather had to overcome tremendous adversity. She therefore can relate to the difficulties that our Korean speaking clients face when encountering the American legal system for the first time. Heather now takes pride in the fact that she can now give back to the Maryland and Virginia Korean community. As a result of her life experiences, her education and desire to help the Korean community, Portner and Shure's Korean speaking clients now have a tremendous asset on their side.
헤더 정은 메릴랜드와 버지니아 한국인 개인 상해 부서에 최근 입문되었습니다. 1998년도에 한국에서 미국으로 이민을 왔으며, 미국을 왔을 당시에는 영어를 전혀 하지 못하였습니다. 그럼에도 불구하고, 그녀는 빠르게 영어를 습득하였고, 결과로 College Park 에 있는 주립대학,교University of Maryland를 입학하고 졸업하였습니다.
젊은 한인으로써, 그리고 영어를 하지 못하는 미국의 이민자로써 헤더는 엄청난 역경을 극복하였습니다. 그렇기 때문에 그녀는 처음으로 미국의 법률 시스템을 접하게 되는 한국 의뢰인들의 어려움을 이해할수있습니다. 미국에서 살아가는 한인사회에 관하여 이해 하기때문에 그녀는 메릴랜드와 버지니아 한인 사회에게 자신이 배운것을 돌려줄수 있다는 사실에 자부심을 갖고 있습니다. 그녀의 생활 환경을 바탕으로, 그녀가 배운 교육과 절실함이 한인 사회를, 포트너 앤 슈어의 한국 의뢰인을 도울수 있을것입니다.
